BELOIT, WI. (January 7, 2021) – Beloit Health System (BHS) continues to improve patient safety and accommodations. Please be aware starting Monday, January 11 the front entrance to the main hospital will be closed for renovations. Patients will enter through temporary entrance doors located on either side of the building, which will be clearly marked with directional signage. These temporary doorways will be used through May of 2021. There will not be any changes to the parking lots.

The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog organization committed to health care quality and safety. The Safety Grade assigns an ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’ or ‘F’ grade to all general hospitals across the country and is updated every six months. It is based on a hospital’s performance in preventing medical errors, injuries, accidents, infections, and other harms to patients in their care.

At 6 pm, First Responders, who will be stationed outdoors, will turn on vehicle lights, (no sirens), and show appreciation by applause. “This is a very meaningful tribute.
